Revenue Scotland has this week published its second Corporate Plan, setting out the strategic objectives for the organisation from 2018 – 21 and the Key Performance Indicators that will be used to measure progress against these objectives.

The Plan was developed through a range of engagement activities with staff and external stakeholders which began in the middle of 2017. Revenue Scotland Chair, Dr Keith Nicholson, said: “My fellow board members and I are very grateful to everyone who has been involved in the development of Revenue Scotland's second Corporate Plan.  A number of people have been very generous with their time and expertise, and the end result is an ambitious vision of how we want our organisation to grow over the next three years.”

Looking ahead to the delivery of the new Corporate Plan, Chief Executive Elaine Lorimer said:

It is a privilege to have the task of leading the organisation’s delivery over the next three years. The key themes of the objectives (Excelling in Delivery, Investing in Our People, Reaching Out and Looking Forward) capture both the ambitions we have for the organisation and also the expectations of our stakeholders and the taxpayers we serve. I see the themes as framing our commitment to build on our successful first three years and continue to develop as a forward-looking organisation that absorbs and delivers change through a professional workforce.

We will regular publish our performance against the objectives, with our Key Performance Indicators providing the framework for this.”

The Corporate Plan and a summary leaflet are available to download from the Revenue Scotland Publications page.
