Revenue Scotland has today published its monthly publication of LBTT statistics, which covers the period to April 30 2020. As this was the first full month of reporting affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the statistics include an additional tab that offers supplementary information detailing the week-by-week comparison of returns received against the same period (Jan – Apr) since January 2016. There has been a marked decrease across both Residential and Non-Residential transactions for returns received in April (and the end of March) compared to previous years. Revenue Scotland will continue to publish these additional statistics highlighting the comparison of the months impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic against the same period in previous years.
