Dr Keith Nicholson has been appointed permanent Chair of Revenue Scotland from 1 August 2015 for a four year period until 31 July 2019, continuing the role he took up from 1 January 2015.  Dr Nicholson said: “I am very pleased to have been appointed Chair and grateful for the opportunity to oversee the next four years as Revenue Scotland matures as Scotland’s tax authority for devolved taxes.

Eleanor Emberson, Chief Executive of Revenue Scotland said: “I am delighted Keith has been appointed as permanent Chair.  His broad experience has been of great benefit to Revenue Scotland in our very early days as an independent organisation, and I am sure that all those we work with will be pleased to see him continue to lead Revenue Scotland through the challenges ahead.”
