Commentary

A total self reported tax liability of £69.5m was declared by taxpayers in March 2022, £6.9m more than February 2022, and £2.4m less than March 2021.

In comparison to the previous month, residential liabilities increased by £7m and non-residential liabilities decreased by £0.1m.

A total of 9,930 notifiable land and building transactions were reported in March 2022, which is 1,840 more than February 2022, and 4,330 fewer than March 2021.
